Washing Instructions

Your braided crib bumper can be machine washed at up to 30°C (86°F)/Warm and 800 RPM.
It should then air dry naturally, as tumble drying is not recommended.
Washing instructions will also be included in the package and on the label sewn onto the bumper.

How to Attach

Each braided crib bumper includes a long satin ribbon in a color matching your order. For safety, do not leave children unattended with the ribbon.
Once the ribbon is cut into pieces of maximum 22 cm (~8.5in), it can be used to secure the bumper. Seal the ends (e.g., carefully burn) to secure the braided bumper wherever you like and however you prefer.

Important Information

Keep away from fire.
Do not leave unattended with a child under 24 months.
It is recommended that babies sleep with nothing in their sleep area. The bed bumper is therefore not recommended for unsupervised use or for children under 24 months.

Fabric shades may vary slightly from roll to roll; it is possible that fabrics from one order to another are not exactly the same shade.
As with any handmade item, measurements may vary by ±10%.

Children should not be left unattended. Bed bumpers, pillows, and similar soft bedding are not recommended for infants under 2 years old. Health Canada’s safe sleep guidelines state that the safest sleep environment for babies is a firm mattress with no loose, soft items (including bed bumpers).

Shipping

The Tresses à Sissou and Housswood collections are being introduced to Canada for the first time and are sold exclusively through Best Rated Finds. During the launch period, these products have an estimated shipping time of 4–6 weeks. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this period, and we sincerely thank you for supporting the arrival of these unique products.

Shipping time within Canada: Your order will ship within 1–3 business days after the products arrive at our dispatch location.

Carriers: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination. Customers may select their preferred carrier option at checkout.
Free Local shipping is available.

Final Cost: The price shown at checkout is the final shipping cost charged to you.

Tracking: Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link so you can follow your package.

Delivery Delays: If delivery exceeds the estimated timeframe, please contact us so we can open an investigation with the carrier.

In the event of a rate error at checkout Best Rated Finds reserves the right to offer a corrected shipping rate with proof of cost and request to have the cost covered or to cancel the order if the cost is not agreeable to both parties.

1. Change of Mind

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you change your mind, we accept returns under the following conditions:

The request to return must be made within 7 days of receiving your item.
Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resellable condition.
Les Tresses à Sissou products:
For hygiene and safety reasons, opened packages from Les Tresses à Sissou are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and you must arrange your own shipping.
A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
Shipping charges paid at checkout are non-refundable.

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method once the returned item is received and approved.

2. Damaged or Defective Items

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, we encourage you to refuse delivery from the carrier and notify us immediately.
If you accept delivery, please send us photos of the damage upon receipt before opening the package.
Once confirmed, we will arrange a replacement or refund according to your preference (subject to availability).

3. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled at any time before dispatch from our warehouse in France.
Once an order has shipped, cancellations are not possible, but you may request a return under the conditions above.
