Terre Verte (Terre Verte MSDS), Colour Index #PG23
After testing many green earth pigments from around the world, we chose this rich green from a quarry in France. With yellow undertones, it is more translucent when used alone and becomes a rich, opaque green when mixed with white.
  • Natural Earth Loam
  • Lightfastness: Excellent / Permanent
  • Particle Size: 50 micron
  • Opacity: Semi-Transparent
  • Color Stable to 330 degrees F
Ultramarine Blue (Ultramarine Blue MSDS), Colour Index # PB29
This radiant blue pigment is our only colour that has been fired to get its vibrant colour. It is composed of 90% earthen clay and 10% man-made, non-toxic minerals, and it is heated in an oven to a high temperature. The composition of the mineral is Si4O10(OH)2Mg3. Throughout history, blues in nature were very rare and usually made with precious stones like Lapis Lazuli. These stones are now unsustainably harvested in Afghanistan, so we have found this beautiful, non-toxic and sustainably- made alternative from France.
  • Lightfastness: Excellent
  • Particle Size: 50 micron
  • Opacity: Semi-transparent
  • Color Stable to 300 degrees F
Burnt Umber (Burnt Umber MSDS), Colour Index # PBr7

Titanium White Rutile (Titanium White MSDS), Colour Index #PW6
This is an opaque white pigment with high opacity, perfect for using alone or lightening other colours. Titanium Dioxide, not to be confused with Titanium Metal (Ti), occurs in nature as the well-known mineral, Rutile, found in metamorphic and igneous rocks. Rutile is the second most abundant mineral sand and is processed to extract the pure white mineral that we use in our paint kits.
  • Lightfastness: Excellent
  • Particle Size: 50 microns
  • Opacity: Opaque
  • Color Stable to 330 degrees F

Note: Titanium Dioxide is toxic to breathe in large amounts because it contains silica (which is abrasive to the lungs), so please wear a mask when mixing this pigment in dry form.

Natural Mica Gold (Natural Mica Gold MSDS), Colour Index #PW-20

  • Our Mica is a very fine, non-tarnishing, brilliant gold that adds a lovely sparkle to paintings.

Note: If added to white or opaque paint, it will get buried. Because this pigment is so fine, it tends to float and disperse easily into the air; we recommend wearing a Niosh certified mask while mixing.

Natural Mica Silver (Natural Mica Silver MSDS), Colour Index #PW-20

  • Our Mica is a very fine, non-tarnishing, brilliant silver that adds a lovely sparkle to paintings.

Note: If added to white or opaque paint, it will get buried. Because this pigment is so fine, it tends to float and disperse easily into the air, and the Silver Mica contains a small percentage of Titanium Dioxide, which can be harmful if inhaled in large quantities; we recommend wearing a Niosh certified mask while mixing.

Natural Mica Copper (Natural Mica Copper MSDS), Colour Index #PW-20

  • Our Mica is a very fine, non-tarnishing, brilliant silver that adds a lovely sparkle to paintings.
Note: If added to white or opaque paint, it will get buried. Because this pigment is so fine, it tends to float and disperse easily into the air; we recommend wearing a Niosh certified mask while mixing.

Shipping Policy

General Shipping Policy

Packages are sent using Canada Post, UPS, or Purolator. Once your package is shipped (same day or within 1-2 days if in stock), we will send you an email with the tracking number.

If you require rush delivery or have a large/heavy order, please contact us. We will try our best to get your package to you the quickest and best way possible. Let us know of any specific delivery needs and we will gladly give you a quote on shipping cost.

Winter Shipping Policy

We take great care to ensure your products arrive in excellent condition, no matter the season. Most items in our catalog do not contain temperature sensitive ingredients and are therefore not affected by cold temperatures. These items ship normally throughout the year.

However, certain products — including our Natural Acrylik Paints, Medium, and Fluid Acryliks — can be damaged if exposed to cold temperatures during shipping. For these select items, additional precautions are taken during colder months.

What We Do to Protect Cold-Sensitive Products

To help minimize the risk of freezing in transit, we:

  • Clearly label cold-sensitive products on their respective product pages
  • Apply Fragile and Do not freeze stickers to encourage careful handling by carriers
  • Monitor weather conditions along major points in the shipping route— although we’re not weather experts, and temperature drops can still happen.
  • In some cases, hold orders during periods of extreme cold to avoid spoilage

Please note: While we go to great lengths to package and ship your items with care during cold weather, we cannot guarantee that they won’t be exposed to freezing temperatures in transit. As such, we’re unable to offer refunds or replacements for cold-related damage.

How You Can Help Prevent Freezing

If your order includes freeze-sensitive products, we recommend the following:

  • Check the forecast along the shipping route before placing your order
  • Select Priority shipping during checkout to reduce time in transit
  • Place your order between Saturday and Monday to avoid weekend delays
  • Avoid ordering right before major holidays or non-delivery days, such as:December 25 (Christmas Day)December 26 (Boxing Day)January 1 (New Year’s Day)
  • Ensure someone is available to receive the shipment immediately upon delivery
  • Consider shipping to a business address if no one is home during delivery hours

Final Note

Given the unpredictable nature of winter weather and transit conditions, we cannot issue refunds or replacements for items compromised by freezing during shipment. All cancellations or refund requests are subject to our Return and Refund policy below

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to ensure your natural art supplies arrive safely, even in the coldest months. ❄️🎨

Return & Refund Policy

Return and Refund Policy

We work diligently to maintain our reputation for quality and value. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with a purchase, we may accept a return or exchange for products purchased as long as the item is unopened and unused. Request will be submitted to the manufacturer for them to decide to accept or decline the return.

All return and exchange requests must be made within 30 days of product receipt.

Upon receipt of your qualified return we will issue a full refund of the purchase price of the item, less the cost of shipping. If your order received free shipping, the cost we incurred to ship the item(s) will be deducted from your refund. Please allow 10 days for processing. Exchanges are subject to a 20% restocking fee (before taxes).

If you are sending back products, you may want to consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without it. Products returned without prior authorization will not accepted.

We do not accept returns or exchanges of any kind under any circumstance after 60 days. If 60 days have gone by since your purchase, then we consider your purchase final sale.

We take every precaution to protect Natural Acrylik items especially during winter shipping, but once an order is in transit, winter delivery conditions can be unpredictable and are beyond our control. As such, these items are not eligible for return or refund if affected by freezing during transit.

If you haven’t received a refund after 10 business days:

  1. First, check with your bank or credit card company — processing times may vary.
  2. Then, contact us and we’ll be happy to look into it.

We must receive returns within 14 days from the day the return was approved. We reserve the right to reject any returns and exchanges that do not meet the above conditions.

For any questions or return requests, reach out to us through our Contact Form.
