All of our candles are lovingly hand poured and packaged in Montreal by our team from 100% soy wax. Quantities are limited.

Our shipping team usually prepares orders within 2–4 business days. However, during busier times of the year (like the holiday season or Black Friday), this processing time may extend to 5–6 business days. Once shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
Please note that delivery times vary according to destination and carrier.
Please make sure to enter your shipping information correctly at checkout. If your shipping address is incorrect or incomplete, your parcel will be lost. If the parcel is returned to us, you will have to pay the shipping fees again to receive it.
Best Rated Finds & Mimi & August is not responsible for delays that might be caused by the carrier. Once the parcels leave our warehouse, they become the carrier's responsibility.
Please note that Canada Post or other carriers do not deliver during weekends. Orders are delivered only on business days.

Customs fees
If you choose international shipping, customs fees may apply depending on the final destination of your order. We are not responsible for any customs fees to be paid upon receipt of your order.

We encourage our customers to carefully review each product description and confirm that the details, colors, and details meet their expectations before placing an order.
We want you to love your purchase! If you’re not completely satisfied, most products can be returned or exchanged within 15 days of delivery. If 15 days have passed since you received your order, unfortunately we can no longer offer a refund or exchange. Here are the key points of our policy:
- Eligible items: Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund or exchange.
- Orders with discount codes: If you used a promo code on your order, it can be returned for exchange or store credit only (no refund to original payment).
- Sale items: Items marked on sale or clearance are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
1. Submit a return request online
Message us using the Contact Form and describe the reason for requesting the return.
2. Wait for approval
Once your request has been reviewed, you’ll receive an email confirmation.
- If your return is approved, you’ll receive a prepaid return shipping label (for Canadian addresses), along with instructions on how to send the item back.
- If your return is refused, we’ll reach out to you by email to explain why.
☝️ For refunds or store credits (not exchanges), a fixed return shipping fee of $9.00 CAD will be deducted from your total.
3. Send the item back
Pack the item carefully (preferably in its original packaging, with tags intact) and drop it off at the post office or shipping location as indicated. Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund, store credit, or exchange accordingly.
Exchanges (Canada): For the first exchange on an order, Mimi & August covers the return shipping cost – it’s free for you. If you need to exchange an item a second time, please contact our customer service; a small shipping fee (CAD $10 + tax) will apply to additional exchanges.
Meet the below requirements
- Products must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered, with no stains or odors (e.g. no deodorant marks, makeup, perfume, etc.).
- All original tags and packaging must be intact.
- For swimwear, the hygienic liner (protective sticker) must still be in place and untouched.
- Headwear and intimate items for hygiene reasons cannot be returned or exchanged. This includes caps, beanies, hair accessories, and underwear.
We reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange if the item doesn’t meet these conditions (for example, if it shows signs of wear or damage). All returned products are inspected upon receipt. If a return is rejected, the item will be sent back to you
